“Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
1 Thessalonians 4:18
The death of a dear loved one or friend changes your life forever. We at Berean Baptist want to help you move through the grief process. We have several ways in which we can.
If you wish us to keep you in prayer or someone you know who is dealing with a death in the family, we at Berean Baptist maintain a Weekly Prayer List which is frequently updated by our church office and presented to our weekly Bible study groups for their prayer time prior to their weekly lesson. Also, the names of those placing requests on our Weekly Prayer List are printed in our weekly Sunday service bulletins so all those attending can lift those requesting prayer to the Lord in their private meditations at home.
Lastly, Berean Baptist has an Emergency Prayer Chain made up of believers in the congregation ready at a moments notice to lift your requests up to the Lord.
Pastor Ken and spiritual leaders of Berean Baptist are ready to visit, pray and encourage you or someone you know who may be in the midst of a loss and dealing with grief.
If you or someone you care about is dealing with grief and loss of a dear friend or loved one and you think a visit would be of help, we are ready.
Another way we can assist you when facing grief is by supplying you with resources to help you during this difficult time. The Pastor and spiritual leaders of the church have materials provided by Stephens Ministries called “Journeying through Grief.” These materials are a set of four short books that will be sent to you at four crucial times during the first year after the loss of a loved one.
